Trisha Swenson
Owner/Director
Trisha
Swenson has been in the property management industry since 1994.
With managing over 3,000 units in her career she has experienced
many trends in the industry.
Before opening her own company Trisha
spent several years handling the day to day operations of the
properties she managed as the Property Manager. From her first days
as an Office Assistant in the real estate industry, Trisha began
taking advantage of the opportunity she was given by learning
everything involved to effectively manage investment property.
Trisha values this experience as it has helped build the wealth of
knowledge she has in the industry. Through the years she has had

career she has developed the ability to work very well with a wide
range of people and personalities from property owners to tenants
and contractors. She welcomes and thoroughly enjoys the many
different challenges that property management offers daily.

Mandy Austin
Office Assistant/Leasing Agent
Mandy has been with the Innovative Property Management team
since 2005. Mandy assists in many different areas of the
business. With her years of experience she can handle anything
from showing apartments and assisting tenants to bookkeeping and
working with the owners. Mandy keeps the properties within our
portfolio properly maintained by acting as the maintenance
coordinator. She works very closely with the maintenance team,
outside contractors and vendors.
Education
Mandy is a graduate of Dakota State University with a degree in
Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Finance. She
is also licensed through the SD Real Estate Commission.
Lisa Hatcher
Accountant
Lisa joined our team in 2007. She comes
to us with over 7 years of experience in the business world. Lisa
handles all the accounting functions that are involved with managing
investment property. She works closely with tenants, owners and
vendors to ensure the financial aspect of the company runs smoothly.
Education
Lisa is a graduate of Colorado Technical University with a
Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
Vanessa Sheridan
Leasing Agent/Office Assistant
Vanessa has been with Innovative Property Management since
2006. She began with us as a part-time fill in
receptionist/office assistant. Vanessa’s primary responsibility
is showing and leasing the units within our portfolio. Vanessa
developed excellent customer service skills while working in the
service industry for over 4 years which makes working with her
to find that perfect home a very pleasant experience.
Education
Vanessa is a 2006 graduate of Lennox High School and is licensed
through the SD Real Estate Commission.
Andrew Brown
Maintenance Technician
Andrew has been with Innovative Property Management since
2006. He came to us with experience in multi-family maintenance
and renovation. In addition to his maintenance skills Andrew
uses the customer service and sales skills which is beneficial
when working with outside contractors and vendors. The
combination of skills Andrew possesses makes meeting the needs
of our tenants and working with the vendors a breeze.
Darwin Martinell
Maintenance Supervisor
Darwin has been with Innovative Property Management since we
opened in 2004. Providing us with his painting, cleaning and
maintenance services Darwin worked for us as an independent
contractor until joining the team full-time in 2007. Over the
years Darwin has become very familiar with each of the
properties and the day to day operations as it relates to the
building maintenance and upkeep. He has a good sense for each
property’s budget and works hard at keeping the expenses to a
minimum.
