It has taken awhile to write this. I have been a part of this very large family for over 21 years and never met a more wonderful, caring, loving person. Deb you are with your parents, your Aunts and Uncles, and some cousins, including our son Corey. I never got the chance to say thank you for being a great support system to the entire family. I pray you are with all of your favorite birds. See you as this is not a good bye but a see you later.

Love

Pam,Diane and familys

Growing up on Pam was a wonderful experience and you and Deb were a great part of it. By reading the condolences I see Deb made a great impression on many and will be missed greatly. I had several occasions to discuss our mutal love of photograpy with Deb in our adult years. Childhood went by to fast. When Dad and my sister Michelle died I was comforted by this sttement. I hope it helps you girls also.

When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still.
What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Deb, you left us too soon.

I wish I could have had the opportunity to meet you in person, but I will treasure the memories I have of our conversations on the blog.

God bless you and your family.

Wow, I don't even know what to say. Because someone sent us a link to an eagle cam in Shepherdstown, WV, I have met some of the best friends I have ever had in my life. Deb was one of these friends. We got to meet "in real life" last year at the NCTC Open House in Shepherdstown, sat together during the live animal shows and dinner. She was truly an advocate for God's creatures here on earth and she will be sorely missed by the Eaglet Momsters that came to love her as a sister, as we love each other!!

Deb, soar high, soar free! We miss you so much already!

I had the pleasure of working with Deb at Target for many years. She was always a calming leader who we could all count on to make good decisions even when everything was falling apart around her! Deb's positive presence was a blessing to anyone who came into contact with her. I had so many good times and laughs with Deb over the years that I will always cherish. Heaven has a beautiful angel now who is "soaring with the eagles" and I will be praying for her family through this difficult time. God bless.

We didn't get much time together in recent years. Jobs and family took priority but Deb will always be in my heart as my roommate and dear friend. I felt like part of the family with the Palmers. I will miss her always, and my love and prayers are with you.

Pam, Dianne, and Amanda -
Our words will do very little to help you right now but we want you to know that we keep you in all of our thoughts. We look forward to a reunion in Colorado in the summer to celebrarte Deb and all of her accomplishments. From the other notes posted by so many of her friends it is clear to us that Deb was a real friend to a countless number of very lucky people.

We also have fond memories of Deb. Memories that started with her teaching experience in Winner to our family experiences with her at Snake Creek on the Missouri River. The 3 adopted aunts (Deb, Linda, and Marcia) always included our daughter (Amanda) on their river boat trips. She has wonderful memories of these excursions. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Keith, Roxie, and Amanda

Pam and Dianne,
You have my deepest sympathy. Deb was a big part of my Augustana days. She didn't like to draw a lot of attention to herself, but was always there for you. I have fond memories of Sunday afternoons at your house. We had many good laughs and fun times. Please let me know about the celebration her life. Deb was a faithful friend and will be missed.

Wow.....I have known Deb forever, and I know I shall miss her forever. Yikes, can't recall the actual year Deb arrived in Winner as a new teacher to welcome and absorb into our circle of friends, exactly, so that means it really "has been forever". Not much fun to lose a great friend who was always there for family and friends. All who knew Deb know what I am trying to say here. I enjoyed many summers of camptime/boating/laughing on The Missouri with her, Marcia, and all friends who did get there to share leisure time, visit, and enjoy just being together.\r\n\r\nHugs to all Deb\'s family & network of Friends.

Deb, I, and many others shared lots of hours together working at eTelecare. Deb and I were on the same team and everyone here at eTelecare is very sad and shocked to hear of Deb’s passing. Deb is going to be missed and we all know Deb is in a better place now. Deb had the warmest of hearts and truly meant well by everyone she came in contact with. She had much to teach and share about life and about her wonderful experiences.

I live across the street at 918 and I did not know Deb but I really admired her for being able to back that boat up so easy and I can\'t do it even though I tried many times. I have a hard time backing up my camper. I want to send you my condolences on your loss and by the other messages I have read she will be greatly missed. I wish I would of taken the time to meet her and visit with her. When she got a paper on her boat I knew I would get one on my camper. We just could not park our vehicles on the street. Again I am sorry for your loss.

Deb was forever young. Her interests in the great outdoors and nature knew no boundaries. We shared X-country skiing, boating & water skiing, hiking, camping, sight-seeing drives and ultra-light aviation. Then there was the music. "Red Water Revival" in the Black Hills, Red Willow Band & many Acoustic Christmas concerts.

Debra was a dear friend and a fellow eaglemomster. I cherished our vicarious friendship and mutal love of all "God's creatures, great and small." My heart will hold a void for her the rest of my life. I know that she is in Heaven in the arms of the Great Comforter. I am sure as she entered the Pearly Gates, Saint Peter handed her one of the blessed little creatures she was unable to rescue during her life to tend to while in Heaven. Heaven has gained a fierce advocate to watch over God's creatures down here on earth. Debra, I miss you. Love Donna (Mauley) from Kentucky

God's Blessings on Deb, her family and friends. He truly gave us a talented and gifted person who was so kind and generous to all His creatures~~~~people and animals alike. She delighted everyone with stories and beautiful photography of her outdoor adventures.
She is gone too soon, but perhaps God called her to help watch over all of His Creatures. She is our Angel now.

Deb shared so much of herself with this group she was attached to. Through her great photo taking, comments on the blog, her sharing her kaykating adventures and work with Osprey. She made you feel like she took you along on the adventure she was into. Her article she wrote in the South Dakota magazine was brilliant.
She will be missed by many but loved through memories of everyone she touched and one of those people was me. God speed Deb and speak your favorite words to Gabby the Osprey. HUGS
