I was so sorry to hear about Dale\'s passing. What a fun-loving guy he was! He had to be one of the very 1st Gayville residents to own a Harley! My thoughts and prayers go out Tom, Laddie, Dan, Denny and all of your family. Sincerely, Kathy Dowd-Krush.

Dale's family,
I'm sorry we weren't able to get back to SD. There was never a quiet moment when Dale was around. Dale's experience has made us all stop and take a look at our lives. I'll miss writing letters every week. That was the only time I had the last word in. HA! Anyone that knew Dale knew how important and proud he was of his children. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Milt and Rita Larson

Our Sympathy to Dale's family. I have to tell you a funny story about Dale. When John and I got married, we didn't have a big wedding, we just got married in the parish house with only a very few family and friends. Well Dale and Butch Hanson knew Marion Nash would be going so they sat at the end of her drive-way and followed her to Tabor. They said John wasn't going to get married without them!! Then when I went to see Dale when he was in the VA hospital, that is the first thing he remembered when he saw me and he had me tell his physical therapist about it!! What a guy :)

I worked with Dale one summer building a bridge and remember his great sense of humor. Even in the past few years when I saw him at the Care Center he was always in good humor. Dale spent his life serving society- a Veteran, founder of the Volin Turtle Races, and building bridges in the midwest he was truly a friend to all.
