(One of the group's co-founders)
Co-owner of the
AutoEx Truck & Car dealership in Salem, SD, John is really a
true student of Rock & Roll. His desires include performing live
music that sounds like the record, adding the technology of today,
playing hard, and keeping the crowd wanting more! John, who plays
lead guitar, shares solo singing duty with Mark and Randy. Although
John began his formal music education at age 6 under the direction
of the Catholic sisters in Salem, he still continues with regular
college-level voice training. John's crisp, razor-sharp falsetto
allows the group to reproduce numbers from the Four Seasons, The
Beach Boys, Lou Christie, and more!

A native of
Waubay, South Dakota, Helen earned a music degree from Oral Roberts
University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She plays keyboards for the group
and assists in singing many of the lead vocals. Her ability to add
intricate keyboard parts and vocal harmony lines is perhaps
unmatched in the region. Before finding her niche with
"Something New," she performed with various groups across the
Dakotas and Minnesota. Helen's bright smile and talent enhance any
setting.
